Terms of use for Brag Rights
What you are buying
A shout: a digital contribution that increases a club's public score on this site and displays your name and, at $5 or more, your message. Nothing is won, refunded or paid out. The site is not affiliated with any club, league or federation.
Nothing on this site is a game of chance. There is no prize, no draw and no payout. Every purchase produces the same result for everyone who buys it, which is why the price and the effect are stated before you pay.
Who can buy
You must be 18 or older to make a purchase.
What you may not post
No slurs, threats, sexual content involving minors, personal information about other people, or impersonation of a real person or organization. Content is checked before it is shown publicly, and we remove anything that breaches this after publication.
Where a product lets you attach a link, the same rules apply to where it goes. No malware, phishing, adult content, or anything you do not have the right to send people to. Links must be https and may not be shortened, because a shortened link hides its destination from the people who review it. Links carry rel="nofollow ugc sponsored", so they pass no search ranking value: what you are buying is a mention people can click, not search authority. We remove a link, and may reverse the purchase behind it, if it breaches this.
Reversals
If a payment is reversed, the contribution is subtracted from every total and the entry is marked reversed in the feed. We do not delete the history.
Not affiliated
Names used on this site are plain-text references used to identify what people are supporting. No logo, crest, emblem or official design is used, and no affiliation or endorsement is claimed or implied.
Content you post
You keep ownership of what you write. You give Iota Vale Pty Ltd permission to display it on bragrights.lol and in share images generated from it. Messages and names stay visible while the site is running, and are removed on request through the report link on every item.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Iota Vale Pty Ltd, ABN 67 701 451 961, is the operator of bragrights.lol.
Age
You must be 18 or older to contribute. The contribute form states this above the button, and we record that you confirmed it against your contribution.
Messages
A contribution of $5 or more can carry a message of up to 80 characters. Names and messages are checked automatically before they are shown. If a message is blocked, the contribution still counts in full and only the message is removed: the money is not refunded because the thing you bought, the score, was delivered.
We may hide all messages temporarily during an incident. That affects no total, no rank and no contribution.
If a club is removed
We may remove a club following a rights-holder request. The club leaves the board, its contributions stay in history, and there are no automatic refunds. See the refund page, which sets this out in full.
